Home is a place you grow up wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to. You can never go home again, but the truth is you can never leave home, so it’s all right.

Which do you think would be more likely to bring the end of mankind, robots, zombies, or aliens? Which do ya think would be the coolest to see?

I don’t think I will see the end of mankind in my lifetime in all honesty… after Y2K I realized you can die anytime so enjoy every second… but I think technology (robots I guess haha) will have terrible consequences because there’s too much dependence on it. How would people cook, talk, text, or even tell time without technology!?!?

I think the coolest to see, would be the zombies… it takes a real man to eat another man’s face…. this is our future my friends…

I admire addicts. In a world where everybody is waiting for some beginning to an end, a random disaster, or some sudden disease, the addict has the comfort of knowing what will most likely wait for him down the road. He’s taken some control over his ultimate fate, and his addiction keeps the cause of death from being a complete surprise.

RIP Thomas

Thomas Clarkson Moore was born on May 30, 1986, in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved to San Diego as a young child with his older brother Virgil, his mother Kathryn, and his father, Virgil, who pre-deceased him in 2003. Thomas grew up in the Westwood neighborhood of Rancho Bernardo, attended Westwood Elementary, Bernardo Heights Middle School, and graduated from Rancho Bernardo High School in 2004. Thomas loved nature, animals, and the sea. He was a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout. His passions included skateboarding, surfing, and music. As a younger child, he could be found on his skateboard or bicycle, making the rounds of the neighborhood and visiting friends on his cul-de-sac and nearby streets. A boy with a big heart and many friends, Thomas gradually lost his way in life as he grew older, and never quite found his footing in the world after his father’s death. For those whom he touched, and for those who witnessed and tried to help him in his struggles, his passing is a sad loss and a painful reminder of the need for, and limits of, human connectedness. Though Thomas’ own struggles are over and we hope he is at peace, his passing reminds us all to cherish the vital-but-fragile bonds that sustain us.
